Are there other fees beyond the training itself?

Is there an age limit?

How does a flight lesson work?

You need a three to four hour window for a flight lesson that includes:

  • Preparatory Ground Instruction before the flight;
  • Pre-flight briefing;
  • Pre-flight inspection (walkaround);
  • The flight itself;
  • Post-flight de-briefing;
  • Taking care of paperwork (Log book, Journey log, etc).

If you read the exercises in the Flight Training Manual prior to the flight will spend less time on the ground explanations and more time in flight.

Absolutely! However, since the days are shorter in winter so there might be less flight time available for day flights.

Will my training be provided by the same instructor throughout the course?

Yes. AASH highly values personalized coaching. Flight training is an activity that requires the establishment of a relationship of trust to enable the student to make the most of his or her training in a stable environment.
